Air conditioning in the hospital

Subject of this bachelor thesis is design of an air handling unit intended for air condition of a cleanroom hospital area. The work is divided into three parts – theoretical, computational and project one. Theoretical part summarizes the basic issues of a clean rooms in healthcare and requirements for indoor microclimate. Subject of the computational part is design of the three air handling units serving the operating rooms and their facilities. Air handling units provide required air exchanges, cover heat gains and heat losses and, in the case of the operating room units, also regulate humidity. Emphasis is placed on the air filtration so that it meets the conditions for a clean rooms of a given nature. The last project part contains pro-ject documentation of the proposed units at the construction project level.

Teoretical part describes ventilation, design of air conditioning in general and potential conception of air conditioning in shopping centres. Calculation part deals with the design of air conditioning units and related calculations. The last part consists of the project documentation.

Thermal comfort of passengers at public transport stops

This diploma thesis focuses on the evaluation of the thermal comfort of passengers at public transport stops, in the shelters of public transport, which are an integral part of urban technical equipment. This topic is gaining in importance especially with regard to climate change and related with increasing frequency of extreme weather events. First part of the diploma thesis is the theoretical part, dealing with public transport shelters from various theoretical points of view. The practical part of the diploma theses deals with experimental measurements of selected physical quantities in the interior and exterior of eleven public transport shelters in the city of Brno, during the six months of 2020 (cold and warm periods). The facts found by experimental measurements for individual shelters are compared and evaluated, with the final selection of the optimal model of the technical solution of the shelter.

This bachelor´s thesis describes the design of air conditioning in space for the depository. The device is design to provide a suitable microclimate for storage a local mixed collections. The main task of the equipment is ensure a constant temperature and relative humidity in area depositary. Depositary space is served by one air handling unit, which is part of the proposed project. The theoretical part solves different kinds of inventory and their storage requirements. Calculation and project part contains design of air-conditioning units for operate depository. The result of this work is the detailed design work of this equipment.

Air Conditioning of Apartment Hotel

This thesis addresses the issue of the creation of the internal environment in the hotel. The subject is the evaluation of indoor environments, the selection and design of an appropriate ventilation system. The experimental part deals with the measurement of temperature and humidity with subsequent evaluation according to the applicable legal requirements and comparing with the calculation programmes.
